Mitchell Keeran
Hey guys! My name is Mitchell Keeran, I’m a junior communications major from thirty minutes away in historic Clear Lake, Iowa. I’m currently serving my first year as the Station Manager for the best college radio station in North Iowa; KZOW, 91.9, ACTIVE RADIO!
You can hear me this year as a play by play commentator for the Warrior Sports Network, on my own radio show, or doing fun things on the air as one half of the KC Combo with my good friend Shannon Clark.
Apart from radio, I’m on the Waldorf Warriors baseball team, and was a 3x all-state outfielder for 2 state championship baseball teams at Clear Lake. I was also honored to complete a summer internship at Alpha Media in Mason City for their stations: 1300 AM KGLO, 93.9 the Country Moose, and Star 106.1.
I have a great family, an awesome dog, and I am a huge fan of the New England Patriots. I enjoy a wide variety of good music, but some of my favorite musicians are blink-182, Yellowcard, Sum 41, The 1975, and Angels and Airwaves.
