Hello there! My name is Diana Humble, and KZOW’s station manager. I oversee all the other directors and step in where necessary. I’m also the music director of KZOW, and marketing director of KZOW and WalTV. One of my jobs isto search out and add new music to the station. As marketing director, I help coordinate sponsor outreach and put together the live events that happen on campus and in the community. I’m a junior triple majoring in Creative Writing, Communications, and English at Waldorf University. Originally, I hail from Stewartville, Minnesota, and I graduated from Stewartville High School in 2016.

This summer I had the opportunity to intern with the Mayo Clinic Education Innovation team within the Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development where I wrote podcast scripts for Mayo Clinic Talks, as well as designed graphics, built course pages, and edited video content for online courses.
On campus, I’m going into my first year as co-editor of the Lobbyist newspaper. I really enjoy graphic design, so I’m also a peer tutor in graphic core through the Academic Achievement Center. Outside of communications, I’m the designer for this year’s edition of the Waldorf Literary Review (WLR), and last year I was runner up for their Salveson fiction prize. I’m secretary of the Iowa Iota chapter of the Alpha Chi national honor society, and member of the Waldorf honors college. At last year’s Alpha Chi National Conference I won the Thelma H. Hall prize in creative writing. Two of the short stories I’ve written are nationally published. I’m a Warrior Women in Leadership scholar, and also treasurer of the Warrior Writing club on campus.
