Station Manager
Hello listeners!! My name is Cody Clark and I am from Lexington, SC. This year is my senior year at Waldorf College. I am a Communications major (with emphases in Digital Media, Print Media and PR) and Sports Management minor and I also run varsity cross country and track and field for the Waldorf Warriors.
I serve as the Station Manager for KZOW 91.9FM, which is a position that I have held for the past couple of years. My job as station manager is to make sure that everything is running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. I manage our KZOW leadership team, which is a team of 8 students in the Marketing, Music, Production and Sports groups and run our Monday night practicum meetings.
I am a huge sports fanatic and have a passion for sports broadcasting. I serve as a play-by-play voice of Waldorf Warrior athletics on the Warrior Sports Network, broadcasting volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball and doing some soccer games as well. My childhood dream has always been to be the lead sports broadcaster for a major college program or for a professional basketball team.
Away from the station and the broadcast booth, I enjoy reading and doing anything that involves the outdoors. I love playing any and all sports (basketball in particular!!) and have a bunch of different jobs around campus. I am the Senior Resident Assistant in Breen Hall, work in the Sports Information department at the college, edit our school newspaper, serve as the Vice President of Student Senate and referee basketball at the Parks and Recreation Department in Forest City.
I cannot believe that my senior year of college is here, but I am excited to see what my future holds! Keep it locked to KZOW 91.9FM this year for some great music, tons of sports broadcasts and anything else Waldorf College!
